My Language Café now open

My Language Cafe

My Language Café, a former home-based school, is now operating in Mabolo, Cebu to cater to a larger number of students, teaching German, French and Spanish language to interested students and job seekers.

This establishment has already been running in Cebu since year 2011. The owners, Cynthia Becker and Manger Calderon, decided to put up this business to help Filipinos improve communication with foreigners and to give them more opportunities, since employers of bigger companies inside and outside the country need people who can speak their language.

My Language Café lives up to its name: while students are learning or preparing for their class, they can sit back and relax, while enjoying their coffee. The whole idea of the school is about learning for a purpose without pressure.

My Language Cafe offers language courses at different levels, from basic to advanced, following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Classes are held in one-on-one or group settings, with various schedules and at reasonable fees.

Intensive classes are customized for certain purposes, like visa or employment purposes, and may include exam preparation, while Saturday classes are designed for students who are busy during weekdays, but still want to satisfy their wish to learn a new language.

Other languages and special classes may also be accommodated upon request. Once they have completed the course, all students also get a certificate.

Summer classes for French and Spanish will be offered as well, which are divided into two batches: the first batch will start on March 24 and the second batch will be on April 21.

For inquiries, contact 266 1475 or 09082596816 or e-mail them at [email protected]. My Language Café is located at the 2nd floor of AMV Bros Bldg., #9 F. Cabahug St., Mabolo, Cebu City. (Genevieve Cañete)
