Favored Autolab, SG triumph

Title favorites Autolab and SG continued their relentless assault with impressive wins Sunday in the ongoing Indie Basketball Cebu at the Pope John XXIII Seminary gym in Mabolo.

Autolab, the two-time Elite division champions, claimed their second straight win with a dominant 77-54 victory over Pioneer with former University of San Carlos and Southwestern University guard Jabby Bautista scoring 11 points.

Meanwhile, SG, a squad backstopped by former PBA gunner Stephen Padilla, got past Ice Palace, 50-41. Veteran wingman Ronan Isidro led the squad with 12 points.

In other results; ex-SWU guard Bon Guillena scored 18 points to lead Prospect to a 51-43 win over Gullas even as Reggie Abbu registered 13 points to lead Ram Tyres to a 74-65 overtime victory over Prodigy. Explorer Cebu also kept its clean record with a 59-55 win over Open Mic while Red Poker got past Hunters, 56-51. Ebros also edged the Junkies, 46-43 even as the Spartans got past Call Assistant, 48-35.

The Lycans A and B also emerged victorious over their respective opponents with the former defeating Gaisano, 45-37, while the latter beat Dosmilkwatro, 62-55. Finally, Akoni Heinar nipped the Amigos, 49-40, while San Roque routed the Chancellors, 63-30.
