Abacá Boutique Resort is Number 1 in 2 Categories on TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Awards
The Abaca Group’s Abaca Boutique Resort + Spa has done it again, adding another set of accolades to its already multi-awarded belt. At TripAdvisor’s recently announced Traveller’s Choice Awards 2015, Cebu’s own Abaca Boutique Resort clinched the number 1 spot in not 1 but 2 different categories. It ranked first among the Top 10 Small Hotels in the Philippines for the third year in a row. As well, it was voted first among the Top 25 Hotels for Romance in the Philippines, up from its number 2 spot last year. Neither of these awards should come as a surprise to those who’ve had the pleasure of staying at the boutique resort. With a critically acclaimed restaurant, an oceanfront spa, and only 3 villas and 6 suites tucked away in Mactan Island, it would be hard to find a more lush, private hideaway than Abaca.
Abaca Boutique Resort + Spa also ranked number 3 among the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in the Philippines, and number 3 among the Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Philippines. Most notably, this luxurious getaway was also awarded as the 2015 Traveller’s Choice Winner, an elite honor given only to the top 1% of all hotels on TripAdvisor.
The TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards are voted on not by travel professionals but by average travellers who feel compelled to share their discoveries and voice out their sentiments. At an age where we rely less on the opinions of critics and more on those of our fellow travellers, this makes this recent string of awards even sweeter and more meaningful for Abaca Boutique Resort + Spa.
