TWO men were arrested on suspicion that they stole the iPhone of a nursing student inside a passenger jeepney in uptown Cebu City last Wednesday night.
Police said Ramil Dalman, 40, and Alexis Monreal, 40, were suspected to be members of “laglag barya” gang.

The complainant, Troy Cabreros, said he and the suspects were together in a 12L jeepney.
Cabreros sat in between the two men.
During the trip, one of the two men dropped coins on the floor. The two later disembarked.
It was then that Cabreros noticed that his iPhone worth P30,000 was missing, said Chief Insp. David Señor, chief of Theft and Robbery Section of the Cebu City police.
Cabreros later identified the holduppers when police showed him photos of people wanted for theft cases, said Señor.
Police arrested the two men in their respective houses in barangay Mohon, Talisay City.
