A 33-YEAR-OLD woman was found dead, hanging in her home in barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning.
Police said there were no signs of foul play in the death of Marry Ann Setenta.
The woman had a heated argument with her husband after he confessed on Tuesday to having an affair with another woman, said PO3 Joseph Rouel Cutanda, homicide investigator of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
After the fight, the woman left the house and had a drinking session with some friends.
Her husband Gino said his wife was vomiting when she came early morning last Thursday.
The couple didn’t talk to each other since then.
Gino said it was early in the morning when he discovered his wife suspended from the ceiling with a nylon rope tied around her neck.
The woman was already dead when paramedics arrived, police said.
