An 18-year-old boy was found hanging dead with a dog chain around his neck in San Fernando town, south Cebu.
The body of Lester Papas of barangay Pitalo was already decomposing when a relative Emma Aro found him about 9 a.m. last Thursday.
Papas was last seen alive on Sept. 28 when he asked for money from Aro to buy food.
But Aro said she refused to give him because he could use it to buy shabu.
PO3 Reynaldo Binatero said the boy’s parents work abroad and send him money for his personal needs.
Police said the death was an apparent case of suicide.
