Last March 6, Cagayan de Oro-based Missy Bon Bon also opened a branch at the airport situated inside Gate 5, Domestic Departures area. The shop offers pastries, gelato, sandwiches, and pastas.

The entry of more shopping and food options for passengers is a testament of GMCAC’s commitment to provide more selections for their passengers, said GMCAC president Louie Ferrer.

Ferrer also announced that among the new F&B and retail outlets to open this month include Ulli’s Streets of Asia, the latest from the Café Laguna Group featuring streetfoods of Asia from different cultures such as Japan, China, and anything Asian inspired. The branch will be located at the International Pre-Departure Area.

In addition, Filipino-retail brand Bench is expanding its presence at MCIA with the opening soon of two outlets located at the International Pre-Departures Area and at the Domestic Pre-Departures Area.

Ferrer said the retail segment in the airport plays a significant role in the airport’s brand image, being firmly tied to “Cebu’s much-envied global reputation as a resort destination.”
