Lapu-Lapu police arrested four persons and confiscated several packs of suspected shabu worth P394,000 in three separate anti-illegal drug operations yesterday.
Senior Insp. Wayne Magbanua, Pusok Police Station chief, said they arrested Arianne Rosalie Tadefa, 40, and Jethro Vila, 44, during a buy-bust operation in DECA Homes 4, Barangay Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City at past midnight yesterday.
Magbanua said they confiscated several packs of shabu weighing 25 grams worth at least P295,000 from the suspects.
At about the same time, another team of policemen led by Chief Insp. Mark Gifter Sucalit, chief of the Lapu-Lapu Police City Intelligence Branch, conducted a separate buy-bust operation in Sitio Kawayan, Barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City, and arrested Raymund Navales, 45.
Sucalit’s team confiscated 38 sachets of suspected shabu worth at least P90,000.
At 2:50 a.m., Magbanua said they conducted another operation and arrested Julito Cosep also in Sitio Tigkahon, Barangay Bankal.
He said they caught Cosep with suspected shabu worth at least P9,000.
