THE voting precinct for Barangay Labogon in Mandaue City had been transferred from Labogon Elementary School to Labogon National High School, the city Commission on Elections (Comelec) office said yesterday.

The transfer came after the Department of Education (DepEd)-Mandaue City Division said repairs on the 12 classrooms of Labogon Elementary School are ongoing.

Mandaue City Comelec officer Ferdinand Gujilde said the request was approved by their Manila office.

There are 58 polling precincts or 15 clusters in Labogon Elementary School that will accommodate 10,475 registered voters in Labogon.

Labogon National High School is 700 meters away from Labogon Elementary School. Mandaue City has 189,000 registered voters.
