EIGHT persons were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bago, Asturias in northwest Cebu last Friday afternoon.
Those arrested were Anselmo Bella of Barangay Colonia, Tuburan, and Victor Tanjay, Rico Ople, Jovenel Repolidon, Randy Mahilum, Milan Saguban, Jefrel Panulde and Cerelino Lugay of Asturias.
Bella, 24, the subject of the operation, allegedly handed over a small pack of alleged shabu after receiving the P200 marked money from the policeman who acted as poseur buyer.
Asturias policemen led by Senior Insp. Danilo Santillan immediately pounced on Bella after the deal was consummated.
