MODERATE to heavy rains have hit Metro Cebu, prompting the Mactan office of the state weather bureau Pagasa to issue a thunderstorm advisory at 9 am today.
Pagasa Mactan weather specialist Vhan Singson said the affected areas include the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Talisay and Minglanilla town. About 34 mm of rainfall had been recorded since 8:44 am Sunday.
