Construction of the new Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) officially resumed today, Cebu City Councilor Mary Ann De Los Santos said.

De Los Santos, who has been appointed deputy mayor on health services by Mayor Tomas Osmeña, said the contractor of the project, CE Padillo Construction, complied with the documentary requirements with the Office of the Building Official (OBO).

De Los Santos said she was given the go signal by OBO Chief Josefa Ylanan to allow the contractor to resume the construction after complying with the requirements.
