Parklane Tri off to hot start

THE VAUNTED Parklane Tri Team took an early lead in the standings following impressive performances of its members in the first leg of the Paramount Property Ventures Tri-Team Championships in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, northern Cebu last Sunday.

Parklane now has 183 points to show in the tri-team series.

Leading Parklane was Cianyl Jamae Gonzales, who topped the women’s division. For her win, Gonzales grabbed the biggest score of 40 points for her team.  Emmanuel Comendador chipped in 35 points while Hannah Lou Galo added 30 points. The rest of the team—, Kristiane Lim, Ralph Arce, Johnny Ferniz and David Jong—also scored points to add to their total.

Tri Liloan is at second place in the standings with 135 points followed by WS Tri Team with 116 points and SAAT with 64 points. REPRO Optima is at fifth place with 62 points.

Sixth to 10th placers after leg one are team TWF (57), Tri-Me (56), K1 Tri Team (54), team Organique (47) and Alaska Tri Spire (40), respectively.

Alaska Tri Aspire’s Paul Jumamil topped the men’s division.

Tri Liloan was headed by Denise Abcede, who won the female 30-39 division. Maria Victoria Tan of REPRO Optima claimed the 40-above crown to become the biggest contributor of points for her team while Expedito Dublin Jr. of Team Saat led the team for topping the 35-39 men’s division.
