THE OFFICIAL teaser of the new film of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla is out.
With the release of the “Barcelona: A Love Untold” teaser Tuesday night by ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc. (Star Cinema) on its Facebook page, fans of the Kathniel love team have reason for excitement.
By the looks of it, Kathryn and Daniel will veer away from their usual teenybopper roles and show their mature side. Will this mean that they are ready to shoot their first onscreen kiss?
The 1:28 minute video clip starts out with the magnificent facade of the famous Sagrada Familia Church where the characters of Ely (played by Daniel) and Mia (played by Kathryn) eventually meet.
Ely, studying in Barcelona, is finding it difficult to move on from his past. He juggles work and studies as he pursues a master’s degree.
On the other hand, Mia has commited a lot of mistakes in the past and that made her leave the Philippines for Spain, to make a fresh start.
As their paths cross, Ely and Mia journey together to find answers to their lifelong questions such as proving their worth, confronting the past, finding their way, and self-forgiveness.
An Olivia Lamasan film, the play date of the Kathniel movie has yet to be announced.
While filming the movie, Kathryn and Daniel admitted that they are exclusively dating after candid and sweet photos of them together behind the scene made the rounds online.
As the teaser comes to a close, the viewers were teased as the scene featured Ely and Mia about to kiss.
