ORGANIZERS and participants of this year’s Cobra IronMan 70.3 Asia Pacific Championships donated P250,000 cash aid and 50 school bags with shoes and supplies to the Marigondon Elementary School in Lapu-Lapu City Monday morning.

A mural painting titled “Triartlete”, a portmanteau of triathlete and art was donated by Tacloban-based artist Archie Archimedes with the IronMan Pro athletes inside the school premises.

The donations were made by Sunrise Events Inc., Children’s Hour and the IronMan Foundation.

School principal Rebecca Toring said they will also receive computer units and reading materials.
