A COLORUM van was seized by personnel of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) at a mall terminal Thursday morning.

“The van has no franchise,” LTFRB regional information officer Emil Membrillas said.

The van with plate number of ABN-6801 was owned by Jocy Mabaylan, whose husband, PO1 Debelo Mabaylan, is a police man from Lapu-Lapu City.

He said the van is believed to be owned by a policeman.

The police man went to LTFRB-7 office to talk to LTFRB-7 Director Ahmed Cuizon.

“He asked for consideration to release the van but I did not allow. We are serious with our campaign against colorum,” Cuizon told Cebu Daily News.

The operator will be fined P200,000 based on Joint Administrative Order 2014-01.
