AROUND 30 local football coaches are taking part in the ongoing B-Licensure seminar conducted by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in partnership with the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) and the Cebu Football Association (CFA).

The seminar started yesterday at the University of Cebu (UC) METC Campus in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City. It will run until Aug. 29.

Among the 30 coaches are seven Cebuano football coaches who are C-licensed coaches.

CFA president Ricky Dakay said that this is part of their long-term goal to produce licensed football coaches.

The seven Cebuano participants are Jinggoy Roa of Saint Theresa’s College (STC), Garry Garciano and Noli Entero of Don Bosco Technology Center, Epifanio Ynot and Martin Ferrer of Cebu International School, Roseton Bariñan of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and Joseph Rodriguez of Giuseppe FC.
