Surrenderer shot dead in Dalaguete

DESPITE surrendering to police during their Oplan TokHang, a suspected drug pusher was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle riding assailants clad in ski masks at Barangay Mantalungon, Dalaguete town at midnight Saturday.

Francisco Caingles, a 36-year-old resident of the area has found a construction job and was at the road construction site when he was shot several times.

He died on the spot.

PO1 Christopher Amadar, desk officer of the Dalaguete police precinct, said Caingles was also linked to a previous shooting incident which they are also looking as a motive behind the killing aside from his past involvement in drugs.
