Robredo vows to reduce red tape on social housing
Filipinos will now have to deal with less red tape in processing their requirements for socialize housing, Vice President Leni Robredo said Tuesday.
Robredo, chairperson of the Housing and Urban Developing Coordinating Council (HUDCC), said during a visit to Barangay Luz, Cebu City that they plan to cut down the requirements from 27 to nine.
She said they also plan to reduce the processing period from two years to 15 to 30 days. The vice president said a one stop shop will be set up in which all housing investors will be designated to ease the costs for people.
Robredo is in Barangay Luz earlier for the 28th anniversary of the Community Mortgage Program (CMP) where they awarded 12 lot titles.
