Couple dead, eight hurt in Carcar accident
A COUPLE died while eight others were injured in a vehicular accident that occurred in Barangay Ocana, Carcar City at 5:30 am Sunday.
The victims were identified as Keith Rosel and Nygile Rosel, residents of Barangay Poblacion in Sibonga town, southeastern Cebu.
PO1 Ariel Yap of the Carcar police precinct said Keith lost control of his blue Ford Ranger pickup and hit a tree on the right lane.
They came from Cebu City and were headed to Sibonga town when the accident happened.
Eight others were brought to the Carcar City provincial hospital.
