SOME of the Kapamilya Network’s brightest stars complete the cast of the highly anticipated teleserye “Till I Met You,” of real-life sweethearts James Reid and Nadine Lustre, which will air its first episode tonight.
Aside from working on a big project, the supporting cast members have expressed their joy as part of the shoot was held in the breathtaking island of Santorini in Greece.
Model-actress Angel Aquino said getting the chance to visit Greece was just an icing on the cake as she had always wanted to work with James and Nadine.
“I was so happy kasi ano eh I know it’s going to be a really big and important project and I really wanted to work with the two kasi I was a follower of ‘On the Wings of Love’ before and I find them so cute and so believably real and loveable so ‘yun I was hoping for it and I was so surprised that it fell on my lap. I am very grateful to Dreamscape for that,” she said.
She said it is also an added bonus for her to be working with her friends Pokwang and Carmina Villaroel for the teleserye.
On shooting in Greece, the actress said that the country is actually one of her dream destinations.
“It’s one place on top of my list that I really want to see. I think that this show is a dream come true. To work with JaDine, with this wonderful people and it brings you to Greece is such a blessing,” she said.
She also said that she can relate to her character as she is also a fashionista.
“My character, she’s successful, she knows how to dress up. She really takes care of herself so that’s what we want to bring out, medyo edgy fashion and yes I’m excited about that,” she said.
The same joy and enthusiasm is also felt by celebrity couple Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel during an interview with “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” who consider Santorini as one of the most beautiful places in the world.
According to Zoren, Santorini island is the next most beautiful, aside from their “bedroom,” eliciting laughter from the studio audience.
They also praised JaDine for their work ethic.
“They are very dedicated. They’re very passionate with their work. Hindi lang ito ‘yung, kahit sabihin mong bata lang sila, hindi lang ito yung sa kanila naglalaro. Nararamdaman namin na importante ito sa kanila at nag-e-enjoy sila sa ginagawa nila,” Carmina shared.
Zoren added: “Kung ano mang trono mayroon sila ngayon, ‘we’re not going to let it go, amin ‘to! Paghihirapan namin ito!’”
He further shared that, “Si James (Reid) for the first time ayaw magpa-makeup. Dahil ang role niya kasi, rebel without a cause. So gusto niya medyo rugged talaga.”
“Till I Met You” also stars newcomer JC Santos in a very important role.
