REYMART Gaballo’s long wait for a title fight is finally over and the fighter nicknamed “Assassin” from the Sanman Boxing Gym in General Santos City vowed not to let this golden opportunity slip away.

The undefeated Gaballo will contend for the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council Super Bantamweight crown against Manot Comput of Thailand on Sept. 10 at the Tupi Municipal Gym in Tupi, South Cotabato.

“I’m excited to be fighting for my first title fight. I can’t wait for Sept. 10 and put that WBC belt in my waist,” said Gaballo.

Jim Claude “JC” Mananquil, chief executive officer of the Sanman Promotions, said Gaballo’s power may be his man weapon against Comput.

“Gaballo is probably the hardest hitting boxer in the Sanman Gym,” said Mananquil “He’s very young and is still learning the sport of boxing.”

Gaballo started boxing at the age of 16. He has 14 wins with 12 knockouts.

Gaballo and fellow undefeated stablemates John Vincent Moralde (16-0) and Mike Plania (11-0) will soon be based in Miami in Florida, USA to traun under top Cuban boxing trainer Moro Hernandez.

The three will be joining in the US with fellow unbeaten Sanman boxer Harmonito “Hammer” dela Torre.

Gaballo has won his last seven fights by knockout or technical knockout.

On the other hand, the 33-year-old Comput is on a two-fight win streak. He has 12 wins, six by KOs, and 13 defeats.
