UC lineup for Best of the Best taekwondo bared
THE UNIVERSITY of Cebu (UC) jins bared their lineup for the 2016 SMART/MVP Sports Foundation Best of the Best taekwondo championships this Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
The team of coach Michael Realista will be composed of Mayn Coran, Dineson Cañeda, Ellen Joy Villacarlos and Luiji Estrada. The team will compete in the juniors sparring.
“We are working extra in our training since we expect to chalk up wins,” Realista told Cebu Daily News.
The tournament is participated in by gold medal winners of national and regional tournaments, including champions in the UAAP and NCAA.
The tournament will utilize the PSS (Protective Scoring System), ESS (Electronic Scoring System), electronic armors and socks together with IVR (Instant Video Replay) to eliminate human error.
