THE Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) is set to meet owners of entertainment establishments in the city at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the Crown Regency Hotel.

City police director, Senior Supt. Joel Doria, said the meeting aims to solicit support from the owners of bars, night clubs, and disco houses in the city by allowing the city police to conduct monitoring in their respective establishments in accordance with the campaign against illegal drugs.

Doria intends to get rid of “party drugs” in these entertainment venues.

Letters were sent to 100 owners of bars, night clubs, and disco houses operating in Cebu City last Friday inviting them to tomorrow’s meeting. But Doria said yesterday they were still waiting for feedback from them.
