TWO of three persons who escaped from the Trinidad police precinct in Bohol province surrendered at the Carcar City police precinct at 11 p.m. Monday.

SPO2 Randy Chavez of the Carcar police precinct identified the suspects as 29-year-old Reynaldo Sayson of barangay Poblacion, Trinidad and 43-year-old Adelfo Cosino of barangay Mahagbo, Trinidad.

Their companion identified as Jason Bayonas is still in hiding.

Chavez said the three men, who were jailed on charges of illegal drug possession, sawed off the steel grill of the police precinct’s cell to escape and then headed to Tobigon port for a trip to Cebu City.

Sayson and Cosino headed to barangay Tisa, Cebu City to ask for shelter from Sayson’s relatives but were refused after learning about their escape.

The two men boarded a bus to Carcar City.

Tired of wandering, Sayson then called up his relatives and told them they want to surrender.

Chavez said they fetched the escapees at the rotunda in barangay Poblacion, Carcar City. He said the Trinidad police will fetch the prisoners.
