Fans of the 70-year-old “Rambo” actor went into a social media ramble after a fake and clickbait news post, reportedly by CNN, surfaced on Twitter and Facebook.

It even has doctored photos of him being wheeled out of his posh home in Los Angeles, California. However, the news came from a site called Entertainment News Update, which produced false death reports of Miley Cyrus and Angelina Jolie.

Stallone looks healthier as ever, based on his recent social media posts. On Saturday, the highly gossiped date of his “death,” he posted a snap of himself posing with Russian boxer Sergey “Krusher” Kovzalev.

In another Instagram post, he made funny faces with his daughter Sophia, 20, during a dinner date.

According to Hollywood Life, Stallone’s holiday vacation was interrupted by the mischievous death hoax.

“Sly’s Labor Day was ruined by this silly death hoax,” an insider told the news site. “He’s maintaining a good sense of humor about it, but it has been impossible for him to relax with family ’cause his phone is ringing off the hook. He knows everyone in Hollywood and celebrity friends and family are all calling to make sure he is okay.”
