Balletcenter scores at the Philippine Dance Cup

WE have more news about the Philippine Dance Cup ballet competition held July 29-31 at the SDA Theater of De La Salle College of St. Benilde in Manila.

Cebu’s Balletcenter scored high with Bernadette Sinues as overall winner of the Junior Solo division, and Veia Lampert obtaining second place in the same division.
Balletcenter’s co-artistic directors Nicolas Pacaña and Gregory Aaron are most happy, and understandably most proud with the achievement.

To boot, Balletcenter also obtained fourth place in the Group Ensemble division. In it were: Takira McCabe, Veia Lampert, Eunice Molleno, Liliana Sitoy, Frances Codilla, Natasha Condalor, Kesha Careño, Aliana Villaluna, and Allyah Gabutan.

Among the Seniors/Classical cited were Judith Po, is 8th place; Khynloyd Genson and Irish Pasa, in 10th place.

Also participating in the competition and shining in it were Balletcenter’s Arabella Arquillano, Alexandra Bacalla, Tzarina Catipay, and Lenzie Magsayo.

Coming up from Balletcenter in November is a full length production of Coppelia. Keep posted for more details. We’ll have them as soon as company manager Josh Romayla sends us the material. Meanwhile, enjoy the photos.
