Everything is in place for this Sunday’s 40th National Milo Marathon Cebu Leg according to organizers present during the launching on Friday at the Cebu Grand Hotel.
Present in the launching were Cebu leg organizer Ricky Ballesteros, Milo Sports Executive Andrew Neri and Robbie de Vera and Cebuana Olympian Mary Joy Tabal, a product of the Milo Marathon.
As of Friday, organizers said around 15,000 runners have already enlisted to join the race that features 21k half marathon, 10k, 5k and 3k distances.
According to Ballesteros, everything is ready especially in terms of security. They will be fielding in around 1,000 marshals, volunteers, barangay tanods and PNP personnel to take care of security.
