A SIMPLE “Thank You” photo was posted by the actor Albie Casiño on his Instagram after his name got cleared from speculations pointing him as the father of Andi Eigenmann’s daughter, Ellie.
This was after the half-sister of the actress, Max confirmed to DJ Mo Twister that Jake Ejercito, son of former President Joseph Estrada, is the real father of Elllie, during the Thursday episode of the podcast, “Good Times With Mo.”
Through a text message sent to Pep last Friday night, Albie and his mother Rina, said they felt relieved following Max’s revelation.
According to the actor, he is overjoyed and relieved upon hearing the news.
The actor’s name has been dragged in the issue of who is the real father of Ellie is, to the point that the budding actor sugggested a DNA test which didn’t push through.
In 2011, Albie was one of the most promising stars of the Kapamilya network and was even paired with Kathryn Bernardo in the primetime series, “Mara Clara.” But because of the issue involving Andi and her child, Albie’s career suffered a backlash.
The actor was pulled out from the teen drama series “Growing Up,” and was replaced by Daniel Padilla, who to this day, remains the love team partner of Kathryn.
“Hindi naman, kasi it gave way to my schooling, which is a priority,” he said when asked by Pep how damaging the issue was to his budding showbiz career.
Now that the secret is out, Albie has earned sympathy in social media, with some netizens saying the actor deserved an apology from Andi and her mother, actress Jaclyn Jose.
“I would like to thank everyone who stood by me at naniwala sa akin,” he said.
For Albie’s mother, the revelation was an answered prayer.
“We are very happy and relieved finally the truth is out in God’s perfect time. Truly an answered prayer for us, we thank everyone who believed in us and stood with us through all these years. A big shoutout to the Albienatics! Am just really happy, thank you Lord!,” said his mother Rina.
