One drug suspect killed in Bohol, another nabbed in Carcar

ONE suspected drug pusher was killed while another was arrested in separate operations by the regional Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the military in Bohol province and Carcar City, Cebu last Tuesday.

In Guindulman town, Bohol, PDEA agents and a military intelligence unit shot down suspected drug pusher Marcelo Escartin in a drug bust in Sitio Punta, Barangay Tabajan after he fired shots at them. Seized from his possession were three packs of suspected shabu weighing three grams with a street value of P15,000, one loaded .45 pistol, one motorcycle and one P500 bill.

In Carcar City, suspected drug dealer Jerry Abellanosa was arrested by police after a week of surveillance by PDEA agents.
