PINK ribbons signal the start of breast cancer awareness month.

Ayala Center Cebu, the first mall to embrace this cause, has rolled out its “Think Pink, Live Pink” campaign this year in support of the celebration.

Now on its eighth year, proceeds from the series of events and activities will go to ICanServe Foundation’s ongoing efforts for early breast cancer detection.

An informative talk on wellness and cancer prevention was held last Saturday 1 at Cinema 1.

The event is in partnership with the Philippine College of Surgeons–Cebu Eastern Visayas Chapter, Philippine Society of General Surgeons Cebu–Eastern Visayas, ICanServe Foundation Inc., Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente and Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente.

In partnership with NDG Valet Innovators & Specialists, a portion of every car wash at the Basement Parking from October 1 to 31 goes to the ICanServe Foundation Inc.  Those who wish to partake in this “car wash for a cause” can get their coupons priced at P170, P210 and P230, depending on car size, at the main mall’s concierge.

Together with ICanServe Foundation Inc., Ayala Center Cebu will be giving free breast-screening procedure and ob-gyne consultation at the Family Lounge  on the 3rd level of the mall’s expansion on all Fridays of October from  3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

There will also be a forum on healthy lifestyle changes at Cinema 1 on October 29 at 9:30 a.m. A Zumba session takes place at 6 a.m. at The Terraces before the forum.

For more information, contact the Ayala Concierge hotline at 231-5342 to 44 local 324 or 266-2535.
