AFTER the success of his concert at the Kallang Theatre last July, Phenomenal Star and and Pambansang Bae Alden Richards will be back in the Lion City to host the 21st Asian Television Awards.
He joins Adrian Pang, Stephanie Carrington and Baki Zainal as hosts of Asian TV industry’s most significant and celebrated event that recognizes excellence in programming, production and performance in the Asian region.
It will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Center on Dec. 2.
“It is truly an honor to be hosting this year’s Asian Television Awards and celebrate the best television content that Asia has to offer,” said Alden.
GMA News TV will present the delayed telecast of the 21st Asian TV Awards on Dec. 11.
Headlining acts for this year’s awards night include multiple Golden Melody Awards winner JJ Lin, international pop phenomenon Charli XCX,and a mystery K-Pop band.
In last year’s edition, the Philippines earned two nominations from the prestigious award-giving body.
Michael V competed in the Best Comedy Performance by an Actor category, while the Kapuso game show “Celebrity Bluff,” hosted by Eugene Domingo and Jose Manalo, was one of the nominees
in the Best Game or Quiz Programme category.
