CETBA national kegfest set Nov. 23-27

THE Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Eighth National Tenpin Open will unfold on November 23-27 at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.

CETBA Vice President Docdoc Gothong said they are expecting hundreds of bowlers from various bowling clubs from around the country to compete in one of the grandest bowling tournaments in Cebu.

National team members and other noted keglers from Manila will see action in the five-day tournament, which is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Congress and is one of the legs of the ongoing National Bowling Tour.

CETBA partnered with E.O Bucoy Consultants and Electro MEARG Trade Inc. for this year’s tournament.

Categories to be competed in are the centerpiece Open Masters, Singles, Team and the All Events. The Masters champion will pocket P50,000 plus a trophy while the first and second runners-up will receive P25,000 and P10,000, respectively. The third and fourth runners-up will get P8,000 and P5,000, respectively.

The Team event champion will bring home P15,000 while the All Events winner will receive P3,000. The Singles champion will earn P5,000. The bowler who scores a perfect game will take home P25,000. Registration fee is pegged at P3,500 for the All Events and P3,000 for the Masters event.
