CEBUANO netter Marc Nicole Suson pulled off an emphatic two-title romp in the Cebuana Lhuillier Age-Group Regional tennis tournament yesterday at Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
The 16-year-old Suson of the University of Cebu (UC) Junior Webmasters manhandled Nicole Gorospe of Koronadal City, 6–1, 6–1, to secure the 16-under boys plum.
Suson continued his offensive mastery against Gorospe as he broke the latter’s heart twice in the tournament by beating him, 6–1, 6–2, in the 18-under boys’ finals.
The Naga City, Cebu, fighting ace Suson hopes to continue his winning streak as he travels to Marawi City on Nov. 4 to compete in the same tournament.
