Prominent families of Cebu paid their respects to their departed loved ones at the Cebu Memorial Park in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City at 10 am Tuesday.

At the exit gate of Cempark, several police from the Mandaue City police secured the area while the Chiongbians visited their departed relatives.

SPO2 Jeffrey Matunog said they anticipate more people to arrive at 4 pm.

The Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) confirmed that the Ramas, including former Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, will arrive in Cempark later this afternoon.

“We will make sure security, peace and order are observed within the premises,” said CDRRMO officer Ana Ubandon.
