Citing the absence of any terrorist threats or criminal activities, Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña said Tuesday’s celebration of All Saints Day remained peaceful so far.

Quoting reports reaching his office, Osmeña posted on his Facebook page that as of noontime there were 13, 600 people that were spotted visiting cemeteries, ports and terminals in the city.

The bulk of the crowd visited the public cemeteries in Barangays Pardo and Carreta.

“Traffic: smooth; no major accidents. Peace and Order: Generally peaceful; few minor alcohol-related incidents, no terrorist activity reported. Enjoy the long weekend and the time with your families,” read Osmeña’s FB post.
