Melindo, Thai foe make weight for world title fight

MILAN Melindo and his Thailander opponent Fahlan Sakkrareen Jr. had no trouble making the weight for their 12-round duel for the IBF World Interim Junior Flyweight title in the main event of Pinoy Pride 39: Road To Redemption tomorrow night at the Cebu Coliseum.

In the official weigh-in Friday morning at Robinsons Fuente, Melindo tipped the scales at 108 pounds, while Sakkrareen Jr. weighed 107.5 lbs.
