ALL is set for today’s 3rd Roger Abella Memorial Open Scrabble Tournament 2016 that will take place at the Robinsons Cybergate in Cebu City.
The largest scrabble tournament in Cebu will feature around a hundred word wizards. It starts 10 a.m.
This tournament is organized by Marilyn Abella, the wife of the late Ka Roger Abella, the father of Cebu Scrabble.
Abella teamed up with the Cebu Scrabble Community (CSA), the Cebu City Sports Commission (CCSC), Department of Education (DepEd), Abella Clan, Rose Pharmacy and Robinson’s Cybergate to make this tournament possible.
Among the top players joining are multi-titled international word wizards Darth Eslao and Jay-r Martus. Also participating are Jowar Ayuno, Joel Toroy and Renante dela Cerna.
