Three Cebuano grads in top ten of Teachers’ exam

Three graduates from Cebu were among the top examinees during the September 2016 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) for the secondary level.

Ian Christian Paler Cosido of Cebu Normal University (CNU) ranked fourth with an average rating of 89.20 percent.

Jayvee Cose Armamento of University of San Carlos (USC) lands on eight place with an average 88.40 percent while Flordeliz Joy Pansag from CNU ranks ninth with an average rating of 88.20.

There were 31,334 secondary teachers out of 92,754 examinees who passed the examination.

Meanwhile, there were no Cebuano graduates who made it to top ten in the elementary level. There were 23,378 elementary teachers out of 77,466 examinees who passed the examination.

The results were announced on Monday by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) after 48 working days.
