Meet Waterfront Cebu’s executive sous chef

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casinos introduces their executive sous chef. Chef Danilo Gonzales hails from Batangas and has been around different parts of the world practicing his profession.

He was Senior Chef de Partie in Dietary Production of King Faisal Hospital and Research Center. He was also with Hilton Hotel Jeddah and Shangri-la Barr Al Jissah Suntante of Oman.

After years of experience in the Middle East he came back to the Philippines in 2006.

Since then he has been with 5 star resorts in the country. He has shared his talents manning kitchens of Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa in Bohol, City Sports Club Cebu, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa, Misibis Bay Resort and Spa, and Fairways and Bluewater Resort in Boracay Island.

Chef Danilo specializes in Mediterranean and Asian Fusion. He wants to bring in and introduce new selection of buffet in Waterfront Cebu. He wants to put in more healthy dishes, and local tastes that even foreign tourists would love.

He plans to introduce more Filipino dishes into the gastronomic spread of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
