PROMISING riders Justin Mallari and Jann Eduard Conje signed one-year contracts with the Solid Motorcycles Distributors Inc. (SMDI)-Spec V Racing Team.

The 19-year-old Mallari and 24-year-old Conje earned their rights to become ace riders of SMDI-Spec V Racing Team after putting up impressive performances in races last year in Bohol and in Cebu.

Mallari, formerly based in Manila and now resides in Cebu, topped the MXI Club Race category in the Racing Line Series in Bohol last November. He also finished second in one of the categories of the MXI Super Series at the Kartzone in Cebu and placed third in the Mayor Radaza Circuit Race.

Conje, a Cebuano, finished second in last November’s MXI Club Race in Bohol.

SMDI-SpecV’s team manager Yoy Solon along with the team officials John Frederick Sin, Heram Chu and Suzuki’s Ian San Gabriel and Juls Bernejo officially welcomed Mallari and Conje to the team with a signing of contract held at the SMDI dealership along A.S. Fortuna St. in Mandaue City yesterday.
