Organizers gear up for Kadaugan sa Mactan
THE Lapu-Lapu City organizing committee is now preparing for the week-long celebration of Kadaugan sa Mactan that will be held in different venues in the city, such as City Hall grounds, Hoops Dome, Millennium Park below the Marcelo Fernan Bridge and Liberty Shrine in Barangay Mactan.
This year’s street party will not be held anymore in ML Quezon Highway to avoid vehicular traffic like what happened last year.
“We will be introducing new attractions but we still have to further develop it through a series of meetings with the committee,” said acting Vice Mayor Harry Don Radaza.
