Jalalon’s buzzer-beater powers Star over NLEX

JIO Jalalon hit a baseline jumper at the buzzer to lead the Star Hotshots to a 105-103 win over the listless NLEX Road Warriors Friday night in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

Jalalon’s heroics allowed the Hotshots to stay unbeaten and tie the Alaska Aces at second spot in the team standings with identical 3-0 (win-loss) cards.

NLEX, on the other hand, continued to sputter as they absorbed their fourth loss in as many games.
