Security Bank reported on Wednesday some service disruption arising from a delay in posting banking transactions but assured this won’t gnaw on client’s accounts.

The bank apologized for the delays encountered since Tuesday as some affected clients complained about the disruption in social media.

“We continue to perform system maintenance activities to address this and expect our systems to be fully updated by close of business today (Wednesday),” the bank said.

The delay in posting banking transactions does not and will not impact the financial integrity of our customers’ accounts. While some services were affected, the delay did not prevent our customers from accessing their funds,” it added.

The bank said all of its branches and customer service representatives were ready to attend to and accommodate any and all transactions as necessary.
