CCSC grassroots program to benefit from RC Goldline 21k race
THE LESS-FORTUNATE kids of the Cebu City Sports Commission’s (CCSC) grassroots development program will be the beneficiaries of the RC Goldline Half Marathon Year 3.
This was announced during the launching of the running event yesterday at the Golden Prince Hotel by RC Goldline president Christian Paro-an.
The running event is slated on Sept. 3 with the stage area at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
Also present during the launching were CCSC chairman Edward Hayco, CCSC commissioner Allan Delantar, race director Joel Juarez of Coco Running and RC Goldline general manager Desiree Ann Paro-an.
“This is part of RC Goldline’s corporate social responsibility and also to give back to the community on our 20th anniversary celebration,” said Christian Paro-an. “I want to help these kids. Aside from giving all of the proceeds we will also provide free registration for these kids on race day.”
Hayco is thankful of the help Paro-an and his company has extended to his program that’s been going on for years.
“He is providing for the transformation of these kids. This help will surely go a long way,” said Hayco.
The race will have four distances, the 21-kilometer, 12k, 6k and 3k.
Registration fee is P350 for the 3k, P500 for the 6k, P600 for the 12k and P700 for the 21k. To register, one can visit the running event’s official Facebook page “RC Goldline Half Marathon.”
