MARVIN Sevilla won ‘Bowler of the Month’ honors for August after dominating the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) monthly tournament last Saturday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Sevilla toppled 1,337 pinfalls in the six-game finals including a sizzling streak in games two to five where he scored 220, 214, 202 and 212, respectively.
Female bowler Emi Osada finished second with 1,280 pinfalls while Nestor Longcanaya rounded off the top three with 1,277 pinfalls.
Terrence Williams grabbed the fourth spot with 1,254 pinfalls while Fel Alasagas finished fifth after downing 1,234 pins.
The sixth to 15th placers were Noel Tanyu (1,222), Baby Bacon (1,193), Noel Marquez (1,180), Ed Dilla (1,172), Danny Sabang (1,166), Hadji Baracal
(1,140), Beth Ngo (1,124), Fred Torrequemada (1,118), Brian Sy (1,113) and Makoto Osada (1,112) respectively.
Bowler of the Month winners automatically qualify for the Bowler of the Yea grand finals in December.
