Drunk nabbed for gun possession

A RESIDENT of Liloan town was arrested by police for illegal firearms possession and illegal discharge of a firearm at past 3 am Monday.

Rodrigo Mendoza drank with friends at a convenience store in Barangay Poblacion when a heated argument ensued and Mendoza went to his house and came back to the store with a gun.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.

Police seized from Mendoza one .45 pistol and ammunition.

Mendoza doesn’t have a license for the gun.
