Legaspi to vacate CPDRC post for CSU

Roberto “Bobby” Legaspi will no longer oversee the management and operations of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC).

Legaspi told reporters on Friday that Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III has instructed him to already return to his old post as head of the Capitol’s Civil Security Unit (CSU).

“The governor decided to pull me back because I still have my primary duties here. Being the head of the province’s security (I am responsible) not only in (securing) the Capitol but also other provincial properties,” he said.

Legaspi said he was replaced by assistant jail warden Audusti Miguel who assumed as CPDRC deputy warden on Friday and will continue to occupy the post until such time that a new jail warden will have been named.

Davide, Legaspi said, also feels that there is no more need for him at CPDRC because security and order was already restored in the provincial facility with the implementation of greyhound operations since he assumed on March 2016 to replace Dr. Gil Macato. / With  USJ-R Intern Patricia Erlaine Luardo
