Dynacast, Kogi-Q tie in SHAABAA standings

DYNACAST 2001 caught up with Kogi-Q-Riway 37 for the lead in the standings of Division B with a dominant 53-30 beatdown of the 1999 AutoLAB in the 22nd SHAABAA Basketball Tournament Powered by Common Ground last weekend at the Magis Eagles Arena.

Dynacast is now tied with the idle Kogi-Q-Riway 37 at the top with identical 8-0 (win-loss) records.

After a slow first period that ended up tied at 7-all, Dynacast sped away in the second with an 18-6 blast that AutoLAB was not able to recover from.

Jason Arquisola led the winners with 18 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists while Erwin Ngo had 15 points, five boards and five steals.

2000 Core Pacific also remained close to the leaders as it nabbed its seventh win in eight games after routing the 2002 San Remigio Beach Club, 84-53.

Joevince Canizares had a monster outing of 21 points and 21 rebounds laced with three assists, three steals and two blocked shots to power Core Pacific to the easy win.

In the other Division B game, the 1993 King Properties prevailed over Chick@Phil, 59-52.
