A boy died after reportedly drowning in a resort’s swimming pool in Talisay City Saturday afternoon.
Talisay City police identified the boy as Briar Bacangoy of Barangay Bulacao, Cebu City.
Insp. Jason Villamater of the Talisay City police precinct said the boy’s father, Silvino Sangalang, tried to rush him to the nearest hospital but Briar failed to make it.
Villamater said they are still verifying if there was a lifeguard during the incident.
